He didn’t chair it. The chair left for reasons someone else would explain better, and derailed a lot of our in progress work.

If I remember correctly, BJ was very active in giving his recommendations and input while we were in session. Any problems with technology were far from anything that could be blamed on him.

It’s unfortunate the complaint was made, but not unexpected in light of theocracy in politics. Ultimately I think the Bibles will be required to be removed.

The situation will be a winner for two wings of the GOP though. The Bible removal may be used to promote leasing the facilities allowing the Bibles to be returned, and it invigorates to the War on Religion crowd.

Both the resolutions and the vacant assistant treasurer’s position will be filled by the State Committee. The Assistant Treasurer’s position was previously an appointed position and thus a non-voting member of the Executive Committee. It is now an elected position with voting privileges. The idea is to allow an Assistant Treasurer to be elevated in case the Treasurer cannot perform his duties.

Of course. He’s been building up for her announcement for weeks now. They’re bff’s. It is to the point that he really ought to give up the charade that he’s an objective journalist and acknowledge that he’s been in the tank for her since she ran for governor. I’d respect him a lot more if he did.
