Let’s face facts: the Braves are rebuilding.

The Nats’ signing of Max Scherzer should make Hart and the Braves especially glad they’re not trying to win anything this year.

  2. saltycracker says:

MLK: – A great man, in a great book, not judging his warts but telling a story of the hunt for his assassin as it was, MLK’s drive for equality, his trust of Abernathy and distrust of the motives of the self serving Jackson. Don’t think his dream was people, poor or rich. dependent on largess doled out by politicians.

  3. Baker says:

I also have some concern that the GOP is so unconcerned about the environment. Just because you don’t believe Miami is going to be underwater next year doesn’t mean we shouldn’t give a crap about the environment. Yet another point where Rush Limbaugh is such an a-hole. Listening to him he just about pollutes and uses as much energy on purpose for spite. So stupid.

All that said, I would also argue the Democrats are living in the 1960’s on just about everything else.

  4. Baker says:

Oh yeah…and Redford is an idiot if he thinks the oil in those tar sands is just going to forever stay in the ground. You have two choices: Do you want it shipped through America in as safe a pipeline as can be built in the 21st century (and then yes, some of the refined oil would get on a tanker)? Or do you want the unrefined sludge shipped out on trucks and then out of a port somewhere in Canada via tankers that are almost assuredly not as safe?
