On this day in 1781, the last major battle of the American Revolutionary War took place in Yorktown. The American forces, led by George Washington, defeated the British troops under Lord Cornwallis.

    Holmes is a fascinating story: here’s a longer version.

    She is disrupting the testing world for the better of health care. What we need to be sensitive to on the political scene is the big labs, testing manufacturers, providers and doctors that make big bucks from the current higher priced system stonewalling her innovations via our legislators.
