Obama, Ebola, Atlanta

According to various news outlets, Josh Earnest, White House Press Secretary, announced today that President Obama is scheduled to be in Atlanta on Tuesday.

He will meet with officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to receive updated information about the Ebola outbreak in west Africa and the recent viral respiratory illness associated with human enterovirus 68 that has hit children in the Midwest.

The President is also expected to share his gratitude to the doctors, scientists, and other healthcare workers for their efforts in handling the Ebola outbreak in an efficient manner.

Then it’s time to play our favorite general election campaign game:

Which Democratic nominees will be seen with/greet the President?

    1) Jason Carter?
    2) Michelle Nunn?

We’ve seen a lot of ads with Nunn hugging GHWB. Is she willing to do the same with the President of her party?

Given his approval numbers it would be prudent of both of them to beg off due to lack of notice and previous engagements.
