Emory, UGA, Tech and Georgia State University all were ranked highly by the Academic Ranking of World Universities by the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China. Rankings were released earlier this week.

Tech is the 99th-best school in the world, 52nd-best in the U.S. and highest-ranked from Georgia.

In every subject or field, one of Georgia’s research-based institutions was ranked. Tech’s College of Engineering was found to be the sixth-best nerd school engineering program, the highest ranking for any program in Georgia.

Let’s see, this proves GSU’s very real academic caliber, we have a real football squad, time to grant us AAU membership.

We’ll settle this at Camp Randall in 2016.

That’s still not going to get Georgia State into the AAU or the top 25 of all academic schools in the world…
