  1. FranInAtlanta says:

Sad about Beverly Hall. And I tend to believe her attorney. She would not be the first where cancer got hold after a personal humiliation.

    • MattMD says:

If she is stage-IV and undergoing chemo then there is no way she could take going through a trial.

  2. John Konop says:

This is the problem we have, the government involved with parental issues. Not only is this a waste of tax payers money, scarlet letter on kids for jobs….most teenagers make bad choice ….But criminalizing bad decisions like this makes no sense…..If a teenager shows another teenager a playboy do we through them in jail with 2 felonies?

…..Allegedly, a 17-year-old boy sent a video of his penis to his 15-year-old girlfriend after she had sent him a naked picture. The police and prosecutors decided to charge him with 2 felonies, receiving and producing child porn (his video and the girls picture). The girl was not charged. When he refused to plead guilty, they got a search warrant from a local Magistrate (note; Virginia Magistrates are not lawyers and tend to be rubber stamps for the police) to take the boy to a hospital to take a picture of picture of his erect penis to compare to the video. To do this he would have to receive an injection DIRECTY into his penis to force an erection. So not only are they creating child-porn, they are doing so in a painful, humiliating manner akin to torture…..

  3. Harry says:

Quote on Obama attributed to Vaclav Klaus:
“The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their president.”

  4. Jon Lester says:

We’ll see if the allegations against the state GOP prove out, but I know John Padgett, and I tried to warn against electing him chairman, because his personality and his style do nothing to assuage certain concerns among the sensitive.
