Even 5,000 miles away, the excitement for KISS coming to Atlanta is real and palpable.

“God of Thunder” by KISS.

Cochran pulls it out in Mississippi, maybe with help of donks. TPers blame illuminati, swear results will not stand.

Basically just another morning after an election this cycle.

Well, the tpers managed to tap big FW and SCF money, they mustered white nationalists as poll-watchers, they’re claiming the election was stolen and are threatening legal challenges. That’s not typical.

As an aside, maybe Chambliss saw this kind of ruckus coming in Georgia.

The only race won by an ‘outsider/TP candidate’ so far was the one where the TP did not pariticpate, Brat over Cantor.

If the TP wants to be effective going forward, they must stay out of individual races. I know this raises plenty of $$$$$ for them, but it ain’t getting the job done. By getting involved in these races people like Sharon Angle, Christine ODonnell, Todd Aiken, Chris McDaniel et al become the face of the TP. When they inevitably make an asinine statement then lose their race, the TP loses.

To paraphrase Dick Cheney, “Rarely has a political organization been so wrong about so much at the expense of so many.”

Today and tomorrow are opinions days at SCOTUS. Live blog from SCOTUSblog is up and running here!……eight opinions from the term are outstanding.

Today’s big loser: Aereo
Today’s big winner: The guy who just got arrested and doesn’t want his cellphone searched without a warrant

Massive, massive win for digital privacy. A 9-0 ruling that cops need a warrant to search your cell phone. No exceptions, not even for exigency.

This does more than protect your privacy. If you’re recording an interaction on your cell phone, and the cop seizes the phone, they can’t access the phone to erase the recording. If the recording somehow gets erased while impounded at the jail, instant civil rights violation.

Another opinion day tomorrow (Thursday) AND either Friday or Monday.

Outstanding:
NLRB v. Noel Canning
McCullen v. Coakley
Harris v. Quinn
Hobby Lobby/Conestoga (combined)

My take is that Thad Cochran should have decided not to run soon enough to bring good candidates in. McMillan was comfortable campaigning with Confederate flags waving – something that I, as a Republican, do NOT support.
Cochran was the face of the whites who supported Civil Rights when he first ran and has never “joined up” with the other side. Blacks who voted for him were doing no more than vote for the best choice if they were stuck with a Republican Senator – and, yes, I voted in a Democratic Primary in order to vote against Cynthia McKinney.
Frankly, I am surprised that all of the outsiders seemed to think the final vote was about Tea Party vs. not – they do not grasp that white only symbols surrounding a candidate are bad for all of us but especially bad for Republicans.
Am so glad that my liberal friends will not be posting quotes from McMillan (in his own voice via audio) today.

Sorry to be a jerk but I think you mean McDaniel.

Thanks for the news, Ed.

You tout KISS and then accuse others of terrible taste in music? They are likely the ultimate band to have sold the sizzle because there was no steak.

Bro. BRO. Just… no.

Gonna pretend you never said this.
