SBA List endorses Tricia Pridemore; GRTL Endorses 4 More Men

The Susan B Anthony List has made another Georgia endorsement, this time for Tricia Pridemore in Georgia’s 11th Congressional District.  She joins other SBA list approved candidates Karen Handel and Donna Sheldon.  Coincidentally (?), none of these women have been endorsed by the now rogue group Georgia Right to Life.  They were busy last week operating without a charter but still found time to endorse four more men.  We’ll assume none of them are barren or infertile.

The SBA List press release is below the fold:

SBA List Candidate Fund Endorses Tricia Pridemore for Georgia’s 11th District

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today the Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund, a national pro-life political action committee, announced its endorsement of Tricia Pridemore for Congress in Georgia’s 11th congressional district.

“The Susan B. Anthony List Candidate fund is proud to endorse Tricia Pridemore for Congress. Tricia’s past leadership experience in business and communications will make her an excellent addition to the House Pro-life Women’s Caucus,” said SBA List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser. “We know Tricia will be a strong defender of unborn children, women, and pro-life taxpayers. Georgia’s 11th district and the nation will benefit from her courageous, pro-life voice in Washington.”

Tricia Pridemore and her husband started a marketing automation software company that they grew into a multi-million dollar organization servicing the nation’s leading Fortune 500 companies including Travelocity,, Bank of America,, and Southern Company. In 2011, Pridemore was appointed the Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Workforce Development. Pridemore successfully designed and implemented innovative strategies to drive economic growth, putting roughly 100,000 Georgians back to work.

On March 3, Tricia Pridemore became the first federal candidate in Georgia to qualify for the Republican Primary. This is an open seat with the primary election set for May 20.

The Susan B. Anthony List and its affiliated Political Action Committees, the SBA List Candidate Fund and Women Speak Out PAC, are dedicated to pursuing policies and electing candidates who will reduce and ultimately end abortion. To that end, the SBA List emphasizes the education, promotion, mobilization, and election of pro-life women at all levels of government.  The SBA List is a network of more than 365,000 pro-life Americans nationwide.

I find it a tad ironic that SBA List only endorses women unless there are no women in races. Not to say Pridemore isn’t pro-life, but I wonder exactly how the 4 candidates differ on this issue and would love to know how SBA List came to this conclusion to only endorse her. Is it because she is a woman? They’ve been consistent with only endorsing Sheldon and Handel thus far. Just saying…

  2. Dave Bearse says:

Are we really sure Pridemore qualified first? Loudermilk and Barr qualified the same day as Pridemore in the 11th.

It’s a valid question, since the Anthony organization stated that Handel was Georgia’s first female Secretary of State when announcing its support for Handel, and that Sheldon was in the House majority leadership when announcing support for its Sheldon in Feb or Mar, despite that fact Sheldon didn’t even serve in the 2014 session.

    After all

Overly emotional opinions generally prove untrustworthy… whether the opinions reflect praise or scorn.
You’ve made it clear where you stand in regards to the life issue and GRTL’s approach. That’s fine. When you write a post which appears to be motivated by rage, it hurts your credibility more than it hurts anything else.

    Be circumspect.

    • Charlie says:

I’ve been amazingly consistent on this subject, and I plan on continuing to be.

GRTL has weaponized Christianity and has extended far beyond their stated purpose and goals for their agenda. They lie about others, and lie about doing it. They excuse their actions by shrouding themselves with piety, and demean those who dare disagree with their self-appointed status as those who will judge us until we are judged by our creator.

In short, they’ve earned every bit of scorn they are now receiving. There is no reason to let up know until they fully and honestly account for their actions, repent themselves, and cede the space to those who still have moral authority to lead. Until then this is what they deserve and should expect.

Is that circumspect enough for you?
