This Sunday brings the premier of a new radio talk show in Atlanta – Real Talk With Rashad Richey – on CBS Radio 1380, WAOK.  The program from 1-4 pm will be a roundtable political discussion.  The panelists for this week are:

Dr. Connie Franklin – high school administrator
Liz Flowers – political communications strategist
Robert Patillo – civil rights attorney
Charlie Harper – Peach Pundit

That’s right.  I’ll be doing a political radio show filled with Democrats on V-103′s AM sister station.

I expect that by the start of the Wild Hog Supper I will have a renewed appreciation for Alexis Scott.

If they do a “Winners & Losers” segment like the Georgia Gang does, you should pick Ronald Reagan as your winner. Every. Damn. Time.

It would be kind of an homage to Alexis.

Do you get a signed mugshot for being on his show?

No Romegaguy you just get sued if you bring his criminal trespass and simple battery record up on the show: http://www.wsbtv.com/news/news/local/georgia-democrat-directors-record-comes-light/nNWXf/

Georgia has a rich history of rewarding crooks and criminals.

Take Governor Eugene Talmadge, for example. He is famously quoted as saying, “Sure I stole, but I stole for you.” Talmadge is one of only two people to be elected Governor of Georgia four times.

It literally pays to be crooked in the Peach State.

I’m surprised only because Charlie gave me a lengthy appreciation of Emperor Searcy.
