Karen Handel’s New Radio Ad – “Results”

Karen Handel is out with a new radio ad this morning. In it, she reminds voters that she too has a record of government service, and contrasts her budget performance with that of her congressional rivals. The script for the commercial is below the fold:

FINAL HANDEL FOR SENATE, INC. RADIO:60 — “RESULTS”

ANNOUNCER:

When you vote, you’re putting your trust in a candidate.

But only one candidate for Senate has gotten real results on cutting spending and not raising taxes – the proven conservative: Karen Handel.

She cut spending and balanced the budget as Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners – closing a $100 million gap, without raising taxes.

And as Georgia’s Secretary of State, Karen saved taxpayers money by cutting her office spending 20%.

Meanwhile, with Jack Kingston, Phil Gingrey and Paul Broun in Congress, our federal debt is now bigger than our whole economy – doubling since 2006.

Their results?

Reckless spending that has created explosive debt – and tough talk on Obamacare while their offices benefit from special treatment not available to the rest of us.

Results matter. Who you place your trust in matters…

And electing proven conservative Karen Handel to the U.S. Senate matters… now more than ever.

KAREN HANDEL:

I’m Karen Handel, candidate for U.S. Senate, and I approved this message.

Paid for by Handel for Senate, Inc.

Ah I understand, when a man is forceful and unrelenting he is a strong leader and principled; when a woman does it she is emotional and overbearing…

I thought the ad was very good. Talked about what she accomplished and then painted her opposition as DC Insiders. That line of attack against will work very well since nobody likes Congress and their sneaky ways.

I’m convinced that if one of the three Beltway Amigos wins, our next Senator will be a Democrat named Michelle Nunn. Handel has advantages beyond her gender that the Beltway Amigos don’t (non-profit experience, being an outsider, a positive voting record).

Good spot! Can’t wait for Rev. Broun to come out with an allegation that Handel comes “from the pits of hailllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll!”
