You don’t have too much time left to get in the Christmas spirit, so here. This will help things escalate quickly.
And on this day in 1998, President Clinton was impeached for lying under oath and obstructing justice. These days, such activities are general practice for peeps in office.

Most of the whining about regionalism is by and because of conservatives and Republicans who do not want to cooperate with liberal and Democratic areas like Atlanta, South Fulton, DeKalb and Clayton. Maria Saporta states that the response should be “fine, give them what they want and work together and move forward without them.” I largely agree, but for now the notion appears to be “if we keep playing nice with them eventually they will come to the table.” Which was kind of the position that the appeasers and the detenters had during the Cold War. Not comparing Cobb and Gwinnett County to the Soviet gulag (read “The Black Book of Communism” … the commies actually killed far more people than the fascists did) but just stating that the liberal Democratic folks should realize that the suburbanites will never work with them because their political and ideological agenda is diametrically opposed.

Regionalism should be abandoned. It isn’t going to work until everyone is convinced that it has to.

City of Atlanta releases emails of discussion about Braves moving to Cobb – http://www.ajc.com/news/news/breaking-in-braves-fallout-city-emails-show-reed-t/ncP5C/?icmp=ajc_internallink_textlink_homepage

Hans Utz, chief negotiator for the city uses what some might consider racially charged language in the emails. But he didn’t refer to them as the ‘Cobb Barbies’ so he will likely get a pass from the crowd that is offended by almost everything.

Well, most of the mugshots from your random county jail are likely misdemeanors, not felonies. I wouldn’t have a problem waiting until a conviction for the photos to be posted (in both cases). I had a friend get locked up due to the word of a nutty ex-girlfriend and he had to pay to get the picture removed even after the case was dismissed in court. These days, you have people start these mugshot websites which border on extortion.

Also, anybody who has been bird hunting for the last 20 years probably saw the eventual end to lead ammo.
