Yet More Activity In The 12th District: Tattnall County Republican Party Organizes

Screven County’s Republican Party was organized in June, then the Jeff Davis County Republican Party was organized last month, and now we have the Tattnall County Republican Party organizing in the 12th District.  From a presser issued by the Georgia Republican Party:

Under the strong leadership of 12th District GOP Chairman Lawton Sack, Tattnall County is next on a growing list of newly formed or reorganized county parties in southeast Georgia. Local conservatives gathered over the weekend to elect officers and create an action plan for growth.

“We have a lot of work to do in the weeks and months ahead to beat Congressman John Barrow,” said 12th District GOP Chairman Lawton Sack. “But with an active base in Tattnall County, we can work together to promote our conservative principles and continue to strengthen our foothold here in Southeast Georgia.”

Lead by newly elected Chairman Mark Waters, the Tattnall County GOP will go through a multi-step process to become an officially recognized organization of the Georgia Republican Party.

“It’s exciting to announce the reorganization of another County Party this week,” said GAGOP Chairman John Padgett. “We are so proud of Lawton Sack and his efforts to significantly alter the political landscape in Southeast Georgia. Because of Chairman Sack’s leadership, we will have the resources necessary to spread the GAGOP’s pro-jobs, pro-business, pro-freedom agenda with voters throughout Georgia’s 12th Congressional District.

“I look forward to working with Chairman Waters and his Executive Committee as they move through the reorganization process and have the utmost confidence in their ability to make an immediate impact in Georgia.”

GAGOP Chairman John Padgett, Chairman Lawton Sack, State Senator Jack Hill, State Representative Delvis Dutton, and State Committee Member Linda Clarkson were all on hand for the meeting.

More props to Lawton Sack, Chairman of the 12th District GOP, and his work with the Georgia Republican Party to organize those remaining counties in the 12th Congressional District.

lawton sack is a leader indeed, and seeing him regularly is one of the things we miss about having lived in the 12th…the state gop could use like 30 lawton sacks…
