Shameless Self-Promotion

At 9:30 this morning I’ll be on WGAU in Athens (listen live here) talking about this item from this morning’s Peach Pundit Daily (subscribe here):

Legislators Using Technology: Kudos to State Rep. Mike Dudgeon, who created a piece of software to compare changes in legislation. “So what,” you ask? “Sometimes on Day 39 of 40 we may be dealing with 40 or 50 bills… said state Rep. Mike Dudgeon, R-Johns Creek. “…you can quickly see what the Senate amended and it makes it easier to decide if you have any problems with what you are about to vote on. It saves a ton of time.” Sounds pretty neat-o! (Oh, and look for the Georgia Senate to get a version of that tool for themselves before January.)

I look forward to Rep. Dudgeon publishing this site to the public.

Not for my own sake, of course, but so the House can prove it is smarter than the Senate and more dedicated to government transparency.
