From the Daily.

Here are a couple of items from today’s Peach Pundit Daily.

There Shall Be Candidates And Rumors Of Candidates. One day after Michelle Nunn cleared the Democratic U.S. Senate race field, we discover that Steen “Newslady” Miles has jumped into the race. Miles, the erstwhile State Senator, has a Facebook page and everything.

There Shall Be Candidates And Rumors Of Candidates For Non-Federal Offices. Craig Lutz of Hall County announced he’s running for Public Service Commission. “When elected to the Public Service Commission, my primary principle will be placing Georgians first,” said Lutz. No response from incumbent Bubba McDonald but rumors abound he may not run again. Meanwhile, Bruce Thompson of Cartersville announced he’ll be running for the State Senate seat left open by Barry Loudermilk’s run for Congress. “I’ve always been a strong fiscal and social conservative Republican,” Thompson said. “We need strong leadership in this community.

This wasn’t in the Daily: The aforementioned Craig Lutz has a website up for his PSC campaign. I applaud him for getting a website up shortly after he announced his candidacy. You need to be able to capitalize on the initial burst of interest when you make your intentions known. However, he needs to clean up the site a bit. Get rid of the pictures of singers and guitars, and remove the unused widgets and sample page.

  1. I’m in the office right now, but apparently this is suspicious. No, really, I’m serious. Here’s the message I get:

“This website is blocked from access due to security risks. The site you have tried to access is categorized by our web categorization provider as the category: Suspicious”

Guess I’ll have to check it out from home later this evening. 🙂
