After some of my previous posts and comments many of you may have picked up that I’m attentive to Veterans issues. Not due to my own service ( I didn’t clear DODMERB for the USN or USMC), but because of some issues I’ve seen around friends and acquaintances.
Consequently, I enjoy seeing when someone else cares and offers more than just lip service to say thanks to Veterans and actually does something.
Enter Phil Gingrey. In the coming weeks, Gingrey’s office is going to hold a few workshops to help veterans navigate the bureaucracy of the VA claims system to get the benefits they earned and deserve. In many cases, these benefits are a desperate need.
