UPDATE by Buzz: Here’s this from WSB TV’s website:

Embattled CEO Burrell Ellis was indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday.

DeKalb County District Attorney Robert James is holding a news conference to announce the charges at 5:15 p.m. Channel 2 Action News crews will be at the DeKalb County Courthouse following developments.

Earlier this year, agents took computers and other evidence from Ellis’ Stone Mountain home. Investigators said they believe Ellis may have knowledge about employees fired from Watershed Management for taking bribes as well as bid-rigging for county contracts.

Chalk another one up for faith in government…Is being a crook a prerequisite for Dekalb CEO???

Eyes on Lee May, his stock just went through the roof. He is a pragmatic, compassionate guy and that may become evident soon enough as our transcendental Gov. Deal deals with the cards handed to him.

Think of it, maybe the new Session can revisit how DeKalb’s strongman CEO form of government can be so adversely manipulated, so easily.

Let’s see if Burrell got Snuggles Teflon “No Stick Allegations” coating before ascending to CEO.
