Sen Isakson is not amused

So Senator Isakson is not particularly happy with the IRS right now, nor should he be. Hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of this fiasco soon.

From the press release.

U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., today demanded answers from former Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Commissioners Steven Miller and Douglas Shulman at a Senate Finance Committee hearing examining the IRS targeting conservative political groups. Isakson stated that he has heard from many constituents who have lost all confidence in the IRS and in the government as a result of the agency’s actions.

And the video of the hearing.

Ha. As if Isakson’s constituency had any confidence in the IRS or the government before this.

Any fool who had any confidence in the IRS before or after this scandal broke is a bigger fool today. 😉
