I Know What I’m Doing Friday Night…What Are Y’all Doing?

Most district Republican Parties around the state have a pre-convention dinner with a meal that’s alright, elected officials who tend to rehash the same speeches, and sometimes a special guest speaker who has a little more polish to his or her talking points.  Hey, there’s nothing wrong with the same ol’ pre-convention dinner (some folks really like it), but up here in Georgia’s newest congressional district, we’re doing things a little different.

The Floyd County Republican Party is hosting an informal, casual meet-and-greet for the 14th Congressional District Republican Party at the Brewhouse Music and Grill in downtown Rome.  If you’re close (or not so close) by and like to check it out, come on and hang out with a bunch of Republicans in the new 14th Congressional District.  It looks to be a fun time.

If you have events in your respective congressional districts, feel free to share them in the comments below.

Hey now, the 2nd & 8th District resemble that remark! We have a great home-cooked meal waiting for the fine folks of South Georgia. Congressman Austin Scott is our keynote at dinner, however most , if not all, of the Statewide GAGOP Candidates will be in attendance (all of the Chair Candidates have committed).

That’s the most action South of Hartsfield-Jackson will see from the Candidates between now and May 17, so we’re happy to do our traditional meal!

We still have a few seats available, it’s an easy* drive down I-75 to exit 149 in Byron. Reception at 6:30, dinner at 7:15. Email [email protected] for more details and to RSVP.

    * – Easy is relative depending on where in Atlanta you are, but the location is just a short distance off I-75.
