USNS Brunswick

The City of Brunswick is being honored by the Department of the Navy for its service to the Navy by naming a ship after the city. USNS Brunswick will be hull number JHSV-6. For those that don’t speak Navy, it’s a non commissioned spearhead class joint high speed vessel. These ships are also used by the Army, and look like a beefed up catamaran. The intended use is high speed transport and delivery of conventional forces as well as supplies. Fully loaded it can hold a company sized Army or Marine Corps Unit. Bravo Zulu Brunswick.
