Bob Barr: I Know A Scoundrel When I See One

Bob Barr spoke to the Cobb Young Republicans Tuesday night.  He began his fauxlksy pitch by saying “I’ve been in politics a long time, and I know a scoundrel when I see one.”  He then made some correlation to the need to send him back to Washington so he could fight the scoundrels.  (It sounded like for a minute that he wanted to impeach another Clinton.  Either that, or he’s still living off of applause lines of the 90’s.)

Anyhow, when I got home my email inbox contained the following press release of those that Barr has hired to run his campaign.  Suddenly, I have to question if he really does know a scoundrel when he sees one, or if he just hires them on purpose.

If you liked Team Ox, you’re probably going to love Team Barr.

Let me know when the serious candidates from this millennium announce for GA-11 please.

It just ain’t a Georgia thing until, like stock cars and ‘rasslin’, our political contenders come to the podium surrounded by their entourage and wearin’ a blazer with logos of all their supporting lobbyists and organizations.

I look forward to Sen. Loudermilk’s decision about running for this seat.

As for the other guy, all I can think is, “Everyone needs an Ox on his team.” Maybe he can get the coveted Ox endorsement.
