A little bit about me? The libertarian in me says “It’s none of your business” but we’re all in good company, right?
My name is Jessica (“Jessica S.” as I was called in grade school), I’m 24 and more familiar to many as The Perspicacious Conservative. I’m currently wrapping up my Masters in Public Administration at UGA. and since Day 1, I’ve been every liberal professor’s (which is all of them) worst nightmare. The only reason I’ve stuck it out is for the insanely inflammatory blog topics.
I started blogging back in March of 2011 for a “one time thing” that spiraled out of control to what is now the Perspicacious Conservative. If you want to know why I picked such a difficult word, I can’t answer that. I never thought anyone would ever read it and now I’m stuck with it. I managed to hide my identity for a good while, but, the cat’s out of the bag now.
So far, I’ve been most enthusiastic and politically active about guns and chickens (read: property rights) but I’ve managed a few grassroots campaigns here and there. Essentially, I’m the sassy blonde girl in the back, stomping my feet and waiting for the day the government will just settle down. Maybe someone will listen to me here?
I don’t wear a tin hat, but I do clank my metal pans every now and again. We’ll call them my ‘liberty drums’. Don’t feel sorry for me. Feel sorry for my mom. At 24, people still call her to ask “Did you see what your daughter posted?” I’m on Facebook and so is my blog. I’m grateful for the opportunity here at Peach Pundit and looking forward to all the ruckus.
::DING!:: (That was the sound of my metal pans clanking together) Let’s begin.
