…but doesn’t poll potential matchups in Senate race, but still a lot of grist for the mill.

Q2. Do you approve or disapprove of Governor Nathan Deal’s job performance?

Approve 36%

Still he wins hypothetical matchups easily. The more interesting info after the jump.

Questions 11, 12, 13 are interesting when read together:

Q13 Do you have a favorable or unfavorable opinion of the National Rifle Association?

Favorable 46%
Unfavorable 38%

Q11Would you support or oppose banning assault weapons?
Support 49%
Oppose 44%

Q12 Would you support or oppose Congress passing stricter gun laws?
Support 51%
Oppose 40%

Oh, and Presidential? Never too early:

Q16If the candidates for President in 2016 were Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Newt Gingrich, who would you vote for?
Hillary Clinton 51%
Newt Gingrich 44%

Q17If the candidates for President in 2016 were Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Marco Rubio, who would you vote for?
Hillary Clinton 49%
Marco Rubio 46%

Q18If the candidates for President in 2016 were Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Paul Ryan, who would you vote for?
Hillary Clinton 50%
Paul Ryan 45%

Of course, you can always look at Nathan Deal receiving 20% of the self identified “Very Liberal” respondents in a Jason Carter matchup and say, this isn’t worth anything at all.

Polling Memo here, questions and crosstabs here.

Some interesting crosstabs there – the numbers for Gingrey and Kingston in particular look pretty good.

I wouldn’t delve into crosstabs just yet. Wait til the voters know more than a name.

Who are the 600 Georgians? I couldn’t find the info on who was polled.

Each one of them is 70% White, according to PPP.

“Each one of them is 70% White, according to PPP.”

How did they determine that the respondents were 70% white?
How white are you Stefan? LOL

Seriously though how are the folks polled picked? Where do they live in Dekalb?
