Updated: Ohhh, damn.  This is going to be in the news this weekend.

I noticed Herman Cain trending on Twitter.  Looks like Fox News is adding another Southerner as a contributor.

NEW YORK (AP) — Former presidential candidate Herman Cain will be getting some regular TV work at Fox News Channel.

The network announced Friday that Cain, a failed Republican presidential contender in 2012, will be a network contributor. Cain, the former president and CEO of Godfather’s Pizza from Georgia, will also contribute to the Fox Business Network.

Cain said he’s looking forward to the job because it is “an opportunity to be one more voice for intelligent thinking in America.”

Fox has been shuffling its contributor lineup since the election. It has hired Dennis Kucinich, Scott Brown and now Cain, while cutting ties with Sarah Palin and Dick Morris.

A voice for intelligent thinking in America on Fox? There’s a contrarian for you.

Congrats to Herman. A self made man and a great friend.

999. All the truth of the universe is encompassed in those numbers. It’s better than the Kaballah or Proctor&Gamble.

Why is your “update” relevant?

Dave Bearse February 16, 2013 at 5:30 pm

It’s a heads up that the Fox News focus for the weekend will be throw away tweets from no-name hateful libs.

Oh, just making sure that she’s not trying to promote the story. Carry on.

Why do black people hate Herman Cain so? Gee, could be for the very same reasons he, Cain, was jeered out of the political arena.

Baker February 17, 2013 at 10:17 am

Actually, it’s not the same reason. He was jeered out of the political arena because that woman was standing in front of every camera in America with Gloria Allread talking about her affair or whatever the heck it was.

From the Twitter reaction I daresay those people hate him because they think that if you dare hold conservative views then you trying to hold minorities down…because the liberal social policies of the last 30-40 years have done so much for them.

“That Woman”…

ouch.

Nothing to do with the philandering, truth-concealing, cash paying dude yelling 9-9-9.

Daddy Got A Gun February 17, 2013 at 11:27 am

Which is different than Clinton who was a philandering, truth-concealing, sexual harasser asking for the meaning of the word “is”.

Can you say double standards?

gcp February 17, 2013 at 12:48 pm

Big difference…Clinton was a known philanderer when he ran for office. Cain claimed to be a preacher and family man.

‘Can you say double standards?’

Well, there’s the difference that Clinton isn’t crazy.

I didn’t mean “that woman” derisively, just I didn’t remember her name.

Bob Loblaw is right, that’s why he was run out of the primary. But plenty of people out there only see race when they see Herman Cain, and plenty of people think that he is a traitor to his by holding conservative views.
