Rev. Louie Giglio of Passion City Church will deliver the benediction at President Obama’s second inauguration on January 20. That would be MLK Day.

Giglio will follow Myrlie Evers-Williams who is delivering the invocation. The widow of Medgar Evers is the first layperson to deliver the invocation.

“Their voices have inspired many people across this great nation within the faith community and beyond,” Obama said. “Their careers reflect the ideals that the vice president and I continue to pursue for all Americans: justice, equality and opportunity.”

Just saw a tweet claiming ABC News reporting he has been removed from the schedule. On the run today, so no other details yet but I’m sure you can google it if interested.
