For those who thought we forgot. We didn’t. We just don’t plan that far ahead either.
This year’s Wild Hog Road Show will be at Gordon Biersch, Midtown. Figure 7 to 9pm:
848 Peachtree Street, NE Midtown, Atlanta, GA 30308 phone: 404-870-0805
We’ve had one event there before and they treated us well. Go get your wild hog on, or not, then come by and say hello around 7PM. Not sure exactly where we’ll be in their facility, so just ask for Peach Pundit.
We look forward to seeing some of you. Others, not so much.

Yes Charlie, much to your chagrin, your least favorite Columbusite will be able to attend!
hm, this location makes it impossible to walk from wild hog to PP — hard to do both …
Pros:
wild hog: actual wild hog to eat
PP: no cover
We’ll see …
There will be a shuttle.
Five minute walk to the 10th St MARTA station, three minutes on the train to Five Points, and a five minute walk to the Georgia Railroad Freight House.
Using MARTA to get to and/or from the Wild Hog Supper…That’s funny!
…You might as well suggest use of a spaceship with a transporter beam to get to and from the Wild Hog Supper (Beam me up, Scotty!).
why is that funny? I seriously don’t understand.
Can you really imagine any of our anti-transportation legislators (particularly some of our anti-transit legislators who hail from rural Georgia or the Metro Atlanta outer suburbs that dominate the state’s political scene these days) or their high-dollar lobbyist buddies actually riding or even suggesting someone ride MARTA to and from an event called the “Wild Hog Supper”?
…Tell me that a mental picture of that is not funny.
At least at GB, the chance is much lower that a couple of dozen people haven’t sneezed all over your pork samwich.
Can you explain to me why people will stand in like, a 45-minute line for OK Brunswick Stew, Sysco-issued potato salad and nothing else remarkable when you can just walk right up to the hog being offered and get as much as you want with no line?
The only thing worth waiting in line for was the ice cream a few years ago. That was good.
Tailgating before the Falcons game Sunday morning, watch the Falcons beat the ‘Hawks then over to GB for the PP road show…damn good Sunday shaping up.
