Jack Kingston Is A Big Effin’ Deal…

…At least in the words of our vice President, Joe “Tourette” Biden. Georgia Representative Jack Kingston, (R-Savannah) will chair the Subcommittee on Labor, Health and Human Services in the new Congress. A Politico article notes that the chairmanship of that subcommittee is a key stopping point in the sausage-making process necessary to fund and implement the detestable Obamacare law, as well as Kingston’s “affable” manner and “100% commitment” to getting a bipartisan funding bill to the floor of the House. It’s worth reading the whole thing, including these quotes from our Coastal Congressman:

Obamacare has been the law of the land, and it is getting implemented. We have to work in that context.”

And:

If there are other parts of Obamacare like the CLASS Act that people have looked over for a couple of years, I think we can” look at repeal.”

And:

Obamacare is as sensitive as gun control or abortion.”

It remains to be seen whether Kingston will get any credit from the paid Democratic media for his commitment to bipartisanship, or only criticism from the right.  We wish him the best of luck either way, and will update you on his progress.

Congrats to Kingston. I recall another big Deal that once held that gavel…

The word “affable” is frequently employed in British literature to paint a picture of someone who’s loads of swell fun to pal around with, but ultimately not terribly useful towards any meaningful outcome.
