Cobb County has 9 different locations where you may cast an early vote (if you’re a registered Cobb voter). What’s cool is, they have the estimated wait times posted online, so you can guestimate how long you’ll be in line, or choose between different sites. You can check it out here.
Anyone else know of counties offering similar sneak peeks? What else are you seeing at your early voting places? Buzz, who won the Gwinnett County flag football marathon?

Zero line at the Stockbridge Early voting location. I’ll probably vote 3 or 4 more times.
This is excellent news for the members of Collective Soul and their busy schedules.
That’s an awesome feature Cobb is offering. For what it’s worth, I early-voted at the Chamblee Civic Center last night around 6:30pm. Took about an hour.
The Black Team won on a last second two point conversion.
From what I’ve heard from various friends, lines were much shorter at early voting places in Gwinnett yesterday. Late in the day though, I was on the phone with a friend as he drove past the early voting location in Lawrenceville and decided not to stop and vote because of the length of the line.
Where the hell do these people work that they can take off for a few hours?
Idea for early voting, how about making the hours 8:30pm – 6:30am for us working folks.
or make election day a national holiday.
Here in Gwinnett early voting is from 9 AM – 7 PM. If your boss works you during those hours demand he give you the time off. If he won’t give you the time off quit. There’s plenty of other jobs out there. You should be able to find one the next day.
I quit, now I’m voting democrat so I can lay around all day living off you and other workers Buzz! Thanks for the advice!
You’re welcome. Glad to help.
There was always Saturday or vote by mail.
Forsyth County has a site with 9alleged) wait times here.

An hour? 75 minutes?
TSA manages to check my photo ID, give me a full patdown, cuddle and whisper sweet nothings in my ear, and send me away in far less time.
Poll workers need better training. Or better yet, a union!
you best be quiet before you say something ageist.
Get off my lawn, Stefan.
