1. Napoleon says:

Watching the Bacon video first, I was expecting just complete insanity coming from Terry England. What I saw was a guy who 1. believes life begins at conception and 2. sees it as insane to work so hard to protect animal lives while casting aside as worthless human life.

Terry’s point from that little clip I watched seems to be humans are worth more than animals.

Hollywood’s point is…well…I’m not sure, but I think it’s to promote an app.

    • Dash Riptide says:

You seem to miss the part where England reasons that abortion is wrong and should be outlawed and therefore the 20 week bill is a good bill. From the other side’s perspective his argument is, to paraphrase Sarah Brady’s summary of the Brady Bill: “It’s a start.”

Politics ain’t bean bag. England is a politician and not a mere private citizen. He made his position clear. Hollywood’s point is there are still politicians in the world hellbent on using the power of the government to make sure unwanted pregnancies are carried to term against the mother’s will, so if you have a problem with that you need to be vigilant and get involved. Whether they twist England’s words to get their point across is certainly something for England’s side to make noise about, but in the end it won’t make the campaign any less effective. Like I said, politics ain’t bean bag.

Center for Reproductive Rights? What a bastardization of real, global problem. Lacking reproductive rights is when there are laws against the family deciding on the number and spacing of the children…quotas, slavery, murder in countries where the state regulates the family size and shape. It is a real and grisly global issue…especially to the extent that Kevin Bacon’s Iphone (and my Iphone if I’m being honest) helped contribute to the economy in a country that doesn’t recognize these rights.

  3. The Last Democrat in Georgia says:

Election year politics and the left is pulling out all of the stops in trying to court the female vote which is increasingly migrating over to Romney based on the strength of economic issues, especially after the current “Commander-in-Chief” could not explain his economic growth policies (or lack thereof) in the debate last week in which he got his clock cleaned and proved himself to be the empty chair (and empty suit and empty brain) that Clint Eastwood pointed him out to be at the GOP Convention.

The left can post all of the tape of politicians saying things in a not-so-eloquent way all they want, but no matter now much tape from March or whatever month or year they post, it still will not be anywhere nearly enough to help keep them from getting their a**es handed to them on a platter in November as Romney gains ground in the swing states.

The Democrats “War on Women” as a way of changing the subject from their piss-poor management of the economy is a hand that has been completely played out at this point.

    • Vision and Values says:

This video is way over the top! Rep. England is a very honorable and respectable man. He loves people and believes in the sanctity of all human life. The left is always seeking to destroy anyone who would dare disagree with them. They are misrepresenting the truth.

    • Rick Day says:

That all may be true. In the meantime, Obama will be re elected, the GOP will lose its majority in the House and they will lose even more seats in the Senate.

GWB, Enron, Goldman Sachs, Obstructionist tactics. We still remember. Spend all that PAC money you want, but it will not change this reality.
