11th Circuit Rules Mostly In Favor Of Georgia’s Immigration Law

The 11th Circuit Court Of Appeals today struck down the part of Georgia’s immigration law, known as HB 87, that deals with punishing citizens who harbor or transport illegal immigrants.  The remainder of the bill was allowed to stand.  Attorney General Sam Olens has issued the following statement regarding the ruling:

“I am pleased that the the 11th Circuit has reversed the lower court’s injunction and allowed Section 8 of HB 87 to stand. While I disagree with the Court’s decision on Section 7, after over a year of litigation, only one of the 23 sections of HB 87 has been invalidated. We are currently reviewing the 11th Circuit’s ruling to determine whether further appeal would be appropriate at this stage of the case.”

If Cobb [and other juristictions] County would actually enforce the portion of the zone laws requiring 390 sq feet of legal space for every adult [over 18] in habitation and the limitation of 1 vehicle per legal adult overnighting on property…………..much of the problem would go away.
Heck zoning doesn’t even have a night or holiday shift.
Easy to find enough violations in the above to pay for new employees in FINES.

Cobb and other large Metro Atlanta counties don’t want “the problem” to go away.

If anything, they want “the problem” to stay and grow exponentially so that they can make money off of it as population growth, no matter whether legal or illegal, equals big profits to the powers-that-be (developers, construction companies, etc).

I’m breaking the car zoning law even as we speak. As is anyone with an older collectible in the garage as well as their ‘real’ car.

“on property” exposed OUTSIDE not in closed garage plus a single commercial vehicle. I’m primarily speaking of the 6 cars parked outside the typical 2 bedroom 45 year old houses. More than 2 adults sleeping per bedroom plus assorted 2-3 kids. You gotta see it to believe it! Park an old beat up RV and gain enough space for 6-8 more. Everyone pitching in to pay rent.
