Peach Pundit Road Show At The Movies

Come join us next Thursday night as the Peach Pundit Road show visits the movies – and not just any movie but “The Campaign” starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis. Michael Clark of the Gwinnett Daily Post says:

It is the best political satire since “Wag the Dog” and makes it thoroughly clear to everyone just how brutal, raw, cynical, petty and phony the American electoral process has become. And all of it is done while making you laugh uncontrollably the entire time.

Date: Thursday August 23rd
Location: Movie Tavern Tucker 4043 LaVista Road Tucker, GA 30084
Time: The movie will start at around 7:40 PM. Movie Tavern has a eating area so feel free to get there early and stay after the movie ends.

To view Movie Tavern’s menu or to purchase tickets click here. I’m not sure you can purchase tickets today for next Thursday’s movie yet, but I did confirm The Campaign will still be playing at this theater on that date.

As always we look forward to seeing some of you, others not so much.

  1. Baker says:

I am all for one piece of Marty Huggins’ platform: “Let’s get rid of daylight savings time right, cause I hate when it gets dark early”

Buzz as the resident elected official around here, you’re the point man. Mssrs. Eaton, McKoon, Lindsey and anyone who may stop by, please know you’ll have my vote for life if you did something about this yet another ridiculous government decree. It’s the conservative position.

Republicans: Bringing you the light (or something like that, plaster that all over them campaign signs)

  2. Charlie says:

I believe we also have scheduled a Road Show “Bi-Partisan Date Night” with Blog For Democracy on the following night at Manuel’s Tavern, but I haven’t seen Ed get around to posting that yet. Perhaps he’s still trying to get a pic of Phelps in our out of his swim trunks.

  3. drjay says:

it’s not about the road show, but an important bit of housekeeping nonetheless–should not fantasy football and college pick em games be up and running sort of soonish?

  4. Mrs. Adam Kornstein says:

Saw this last weekend, it’s hilarious.

If you are not involved in politics I’m not sure you’ll find it as funny. The guy next to me kept harrumphing like it was soooo preposterous.

To him I say two words…Cliff Oxford.
