Rep. David Scott Silent on Issue, For Once

On the congressional website for Rep. David Scott (GA-13), he brags about South Fulton County being part of his district:

South of the city, Fulton County offers superior accessibility to road, rail and air transportation. Home to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, one of the world’s busiest, South Fulton County is also the hub for two major railroads. This excellent transportation infrastructure, an excellent work force and superb developer incentives make South Fulton County one of the best places to do business in the country. Headquartered in South Fulton are blue-chip companies such as Delta Air Lines and Chick-fil-A.

He states he is a man of faith and conviction (even though he fully supports the Obama-Pelosi agenda):

Congressman Scott is the son of a minister and is a man of strong faith and conviction.

Then WHY has he not spoken up on the Chick-fil-A firestorm? What holds his tongue – is it fear for his seat or fear of Mama Nancy?

Rep. Scott, we’re waiting to hear from you about one of those constituent businesses you are so proud of.

Perhaps because this entire Chik-Fil-A “issue” is a tempest in a tea pot that matters next to nothing to actual, you know, people rather than people who make political agitprop? I’m glad Scott isn’t saying anything so far–we elect politicians to lead on things that actually matter, not media driven firestorms full of sound and fury but signifying nothing at all.

      +100.

Let’s see: Scott represents South Fulton+his website says Chick-fil-A is in South Fulton+he says he is a man of strong faith=he absolutely must voice an opinion on Dan Cathy’s statements? Nonsense.

Perhaps Scott (of whom I am not a fan, by the way) learned something that has eluded Cathy–when to keep his mouth shut.

Though the obvious senstationalism and illogic in Obi’s post was exactly what I expect from pretty much every political blog these days, it was nice to have healthy doses of logic and judgment from David C. and James.

Thank you gentlemen. It’s nice that I don’t have to bushwhack through the weeds of an extreme ideology and can instead enjoy my coffee this morning because of your efforts.

I thought TR and MH were the only obvious trolls that posted on Peach Pundit. Guess I need to update my naughty list.
