  1. Ed says:

Forgot to post this a while back but Atlanta is apparently the happiest city in the U.S. You can find the link on your own.

    • The Last Democrat in Georgia says:

Really bad traffic, air pollution, high crime, crappy schools, shortage of water, foreclosed, abandoned and empty homes almost literally on every block, sky-high unemployment, incompetent, inept and corrupt government institutions….Yeah, Atlanta sounds like a regular Disney World…

        • The Last Democrat in Georgia says:

Actually, I’m forever the hopeless optimist (see my comment below at 11:09 am).

Speaking of HOPEless, would you happen to have any CHANGE?

The current economy isn’t quite panning out under the tutelage of a certain occupant in the White House…

    • The Last Democrat in Georgia says:

What’s next? Are they gonna p-ss on our heads and tell us it’s raining?

    • saltycracker says:

Asheville, N.C. was the happiest city in the U.S.- but then these listings vary by the author.

      • The Last Democrat in Georgia says:

That sounds much, much, MUCH better. Lushly-wooded hills and mountains, clean mountain streams, fresh mountain air, I can go for some Asheville and Western North Carolina anyday.

        • Calypso says:

Yeah, but Asheville is filled with old burned-out hippies and young hippie wannbees.

          • The Last Democrat in Georgia says:

Aah, the hippies don’t bother anybody, unlike the developers, gangbangers, corrupt politicians and incompetent bureaucrats and stick-up kids in Gwinnett and Metro Atlanta.
