A Fond Farewell

    I’m still here, but a number of legislators are saying goodbye, hence it is time for a paean to their service.

    This is a list of outgoing members of the House, culled from various Facebook posts, “reliable sources” and media reports. If I’ve missed any, please post a link in the comments so I can verify the info.

    A list of retiring senators is coming forthwith.

      Roger Lane is apparently accepting a Superior Court Judgeship, per the Facebook page of Rep Steve Davis.

      So you mean that the idiots at Georgia Right To Life threatened Amos Amerson with a primary opponent even though he was retiring.

      Yeah, that’s some real great working relationship with the Legislature that they’ve got there.

      For a good laugh, check out the “Personal & Economic Liberty” tab on the PeachTea Party page. It’s literally content free. Nothing. Zip. Zilch. Nada. And the only content on the”Fiscal Responsiblity” page is about ethics reform. A worthy topic to be sure, and indirectly related, but really? Is that all they have to say about fiscal responsibility? I don’t think I’m interested in what Peach Tea has to offer.
