“It’s good to be back in God’s country. I’ve got a lot of friends here and I always feel good when I’m in Georgia.”

“The way most of us today view these candidates, I think, depends on how we view our country. I know that’s how I feel. I think our country is in deep trouble. I think that we’re at a tipping point. We’re in danger of not being able to recognize our country here in a few years. Economically and a lot of other ways. I’m greatly concerned, have been for a couple years, that things are getting worse instead of better.”

“I think we’re going to need leadership that is bold, unafraid, not timid, who understands the frustrations and concerns of the American people and who can articulate those concerns. And stand strong for the things he believes in.”

“The worst thing we could do as a Republican party, or more importantly as a nation, is to elect someone who is not able to do those things, to stand strong, and stand tall, and know what he believes and have a disaster happen on the next President’s watch. That’s why I support Newt Gingrich.”

In response to a question:

“Mitt Romney’s had great success with the utilization of almost unlimited money in his political career, except for the elections And it’ll take a while for the numbers to come in from Florida but he’s inundated the state. He’s tried to hire everybody he could and spend as money as the airwaves would allow down there. and of course he was the anointed frontrunner for a long, long time and there’s quite a bit of panic that’s set in among their cadidacy, so all those things coming together, it certainly doesn’t shock me that he’s going to be running a strong race down there. But it seems to me like it’s neck-and-neck, and it’s anybody’s race to win. We’ve got a debate tonight and that’ll probably have some impact on it too.”

Is that Fred Thompson? The one that QUIT and left his supporters high and dry because campaigning wasn’t fun anymore? Thanks for nothing quiter

No, he quit because he wasn’t winning primaries. He dropped out after placing 3rd behind McCain and Huckabee in SC.

Whatever Fred

Ill fitting suit, no smiles, plus all above.

Not really a smack against Newt, but can anyone remember a particular endorsement dissuading voters? I really had high hopes for Fred, he thoroughly disappointed me.

See that Goatee? I think it’s clear that evil Mirror Fred Thompson is endorsing Newt.

Fred! Where’s your razor?? That scruffy face looks like you’re headed back to uh….was it The Dukes of Hazard? I know you couldn’t go on Law & Order like that!
Too Tired to Run is obviously too tired to think….

‘Wonder if Fred was a paid political announcement, courtesy of the $10 million haul Newt got from Las Vegas casino kingpin, Adelson?

He certainly has very little charisma for an actor.

Newt’s been having trouble getting endorsements from colleagues apparently. Oh wait, here’s one:

“Newt Gingrich endorsed by Duke Cunningham”
“I have 80% of inmates that would vote for you. They might not be able to but their extended families will.”

But more importantly did he recommend a reverse mortgage to Newt?

CNFPP January 27, 2012 at 11:44 pm

- 1 (the reverse mortgage version of +1)

Well it could be worse – consider the candidate of choice based on a survey of t-shirts in mug shots….

Yeah, well, who would wear a John Boehner t-shirt?

Lo Mein January 27, 2012 at 7:36 pm

I would, if you spelled it wrong.

Bold for Geisinger and Albers to be there. I am not sure Newt will carry theirs distircts in March.
