Chan Caudell appointed to Superior Court judgeship

Gov. Deal has appointed Chan Caudell as the newest judge for the Mountain Circuit Superior Court, which comprises Habersham, Stephens and Rabun Counties. From the press release:

Caudell served as Habersham County commissioner from 2003 to 2004. He serves as vice chair on the board of directors for North Georgia Technical College, vice chair of Common Cause Georgia, the State Bar of Georgia Advisory Committee on Legislation and on the executive board of the Boy Scouts of America Northeast Georgia Council.

    Sorry to the Georgians who will lose out as the Transparency/Campaign Finance Commission loses a true watchdog.
