Emory Dunahoo wins House 25 (Hall) over Bobby Banks; Hightower in Runoff with Martinez in House 68 (Carroll/Douglas)

Republican Emory Dunahoo took the South Hall seat vacated by former State Rep. James Mills tonight.

Dunahoo defeated former County Commissioner Bobby Banks by roughly a 62-38% margin.

Following a six-person Special Election for State House district 68 (Carroll and Douglas Counties), Dustin Hightower will now be in a runoff election with Alan Martinez. Hightower took 42% while Martinez took 21%.

Nearly 96% of the 2000+ votes cast came from Carroll County.
