A third candidate for CD 9 to announce Monday

Stay tuned here Monday afternoon. If I’m wrong, I’ll buy somebody a pizza.

      • You’re welcome. We’re here to serve.

I really have no earthly idea who might decide to run for the new/old 9th but my money is on former Senator Chip Pearson.

I suspect we’ll end up with 9 candidates: 3 who actually have a chance, 3 who don’t know they don’t have a chance, and 3 who know they have no chance but think it would be cool to be in Congress and have the qualifying fee laying around the house. And to all of them I say: “Go for it and God Bless The United States of America.”

        • Tiberius says:

Richard Nixon said that there are 2 kinds of people who run for office—those who have big ideas and those want to be big.

  1. you says:

All I can say is we have a chance to elect a great conservative woman for the first time here in GA so I will be supporting Martha.

    • Joshua Morris says:

Tommy S? That’s a good one. Would you vote for him, Jane? I commented last night that a 4th candidate most likely is getting in the race this month as well. Maybe that comment will come out of purgatory soon.

  2. bowersville says:

Howard Roark said it, so he’s from Jackson County.

I do recall an exploratory type situation from a potential candidate from Jackson County a month or so ago.

      • Three Jack says:

just a wild guess since somebody mentioned jackson county. but i agree with you about supporting mike in just about any race.

  3. KD_fiscal conservative says:

I guess this is some what off topic but any word on if Mac Collins has decided to challenge Broun in the newly drawn 10th?
