Twitter was abuzz this morning that Larry Munson, retired legendary radio announcer of the Georgia Bulldogs, was gravely ill. UGA just released an announcement that Larry is recovering from a respiratory infection and is in stable condition.
Hunker Down Larry – you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Offering my prayers up for the “12th man”. He’s got more than “Lady Luck” on his side. Go Dawgs!
Can you imagine if Larry and Skip Caray were on the same broadcasting team? What a hoot they’d have been.
I still miss Larry’s play-by-play during Georgia games.
Prayers for Larry. Go Dawgs!
Go out and dedicate this season to Larry. At least that might give the team something to play for.
Prayers for Larry. I loved to turn the sound down on the TV and watch as Larry did the play by play.
Step on that illness with a hobnailed boot!
I think people have forgotton seeing the game on the radio, Man I hated when Tenn and Georgia played at the same time or against each other…. Talk about getting channel cramp.. The voices who were my eyes!!!!!!!!!! Munson and Ward or Ward and Munson… Well you get the picture!
God Bless him and his family!!!!!!!!!! Hunker Down!!!!!!!!!!!!
Prayers for Larry Munson and his family. Please remember them, as well.
Larry could add just the right amount of drama to any situation to keep us on the edge of our seats. He was a real part of our lives
