I do like that the King is trying to introduce a bit of humor into the campaign. Truly getting REALLY nasty, so a bit of levity is a great thing to see!

  2. Mike Hauncho says:

Rumor has it he bought those two cows for a tax break the legislature never passed. Now he just uses them as lawn mowers.

    • “never passed”

Depends. If he’s raising grass fed beef, he could be aiming to sell parts of them for a profit. There’s plenty of deductions for farms / businesses.

Regardless of you you like (or don’t like) in this race, that ad is just plain dumb. I bet females especially don’t like it.

  4. Kellie says:

I liked it. I kept hoping they’d show Deal holding the bow at the end. 😉 That would have been funny.

“I bet femailes especially don’t like it.” This female liked it and laughed… nice to see a little humor. I’m about as impartial as they come well maybe not, my disdain for both candidates is beyond measurable so I shouldn’t say I’m impartial. Kellie, “wilder’s outdoors would have been priceless.” I’m still laughing! ROFL!

Don’t you guys see the hidden message?! Barnes is being shot at by arrows because he’s a secret Muslim and wants to take away our guns!!!!1!!!!!

Don’t vote for Roy Hussein Barnes. He’s another closeted Muslim abortion-doctor that probably immigrated here illegally… I heard he was a trial lawyer back in Mexico. Stop his socialist agenda! Vote Deal!

  6. travis fain says:

I think it’s interesting that he says the 2010 governor’s race is “not about Roy Barnes.” That makes lots of sense.

        • justpeachy says:

Harry, yes Barnes is more selfless. Deal is homeless and broke he’s relying on this job for a new pad and paycheck. Barnes could stay at his current office charging $800 an hour and be just fine… instead he’ll take a pay cut to become the governor.

          • Harry says:

Barnes as re-elected governor would be in far better position to feather his own nest than would Deal. Barnes’ shady business enterprises are receiving no scrutiny by the media or Peach Pundit. In reality both candidates are trying to leverage the position into more power. It comes down to which one you think would better advance your political opinions/philosophy. I’ll take Deal.

            • Kellie says:

Wait a minute; don’t democrats believe there is a limit to how much money a person should have? Surley Barnes has reached that limit so we won’t have to worry about him padding his own pockets while in office. 😉

              • justpeachy says:

no, the dems just raise their rates when their taxes are increased. Roy Barnes case in point… he doesn’t care if taxes goes up he just raises his fee’s to make sure it doesn’t hurt his wallet. Brilliant I tell you!

            • justpeachy says:

You can have Deal. I’d rather a stalemate under the dome for four years then Deal’s corrupt self with under the table negotiations, zero transparency, and lining his own pocket. I feel like I’m living in Central America and the next governor is going to disappear in the middle of the night with millions in his pockets.

        • “Stop the hyper-partisan comments.”

Harry – so promoting both the Libertarian and the Democratic candidate over the Republican candidate in one particular race is hyper-partisan? Give me a break.

            • I’ll be voting for some Republicans on November 2nd. I would assume anyone that is a hyper-partisan wouldn’t vote a mixed ballot. I am anti-Deal, anti-Cagle, anti-Bush, anti-Chambliss, anti-Isakson, etc. But any fiscally conservative Republican should also be against all those people. The GOP says it’s for a limited government, but then it’s elected officials prove that they should really just be called the GOvernment Party. You’re denying that the GOP is fiscally irresponsible?

Okay. Gross! What a horrible visual I just had of your lunch. Makes me want to go and give my three dogs a big ‘ole hug. Of course, I know you’re kidding.

                  • polisavvy says:

LOL!! That’s it. I’m going to have to cease reading your posts today. I just spit coffee on my screen. You are too much!! 🙂

                    • polisavvy says:

Are you kidding? Everyone reads your posts. It doesn’t matter if you are in a serious mood or a comical one (like today), I believe that most people read your posts and either learn something from them or laugh their rears off. It’s one or the other!! 🙂

                  • B Balz says:

                    You are too kind, really.

So many other contributors around here know so much more, are actually much further ‘in the arena’ than I am.

                    • bowersville says:

You don’t want to get in too deep. Some folks have walked off into the thread of dreams and fell into the black hole of Tanalach Media never to be heard from again.

                    • polisavvy says:

Yes, that may be true; however, there are a whole lot more that are kind of clueless, classless, crass, and argumentative with no substance behind their words. I have learned so much from those ‘in the arena’ and am grateful for that; but, you shouldn’t sell yourself short, either. I’m glad you can bring humor to us when things are so grim. You know, like things are at the present time. I say this with total sincerity.

                    • polisavvy says:

@bowersville — what did your statement mean? If you don’t mind answering that for me. Just curious. Thanks.

                    • bowersville says:

Poli, on the right side of the screen on the blog roll there’s a Thread of Dreams. I haven’t checked it lately but it’s a place where I among others could laugh and cut up.

Tanalach Media, LLC is at the bottom. We used to joke about conspiracy theories and the TMC (Tanalach). Similar to the 3 ring binder, spacey’s a girl & Broun being sworn in. All in light hearted humor.

It helped ease the tension in a manner Balz is doing today.

                    • polisavvy says:

Thanks for the explanation, bowersville. I’ll check it out. This whole election stuff is beginning to wear on me, to be quite frank; but, I can’t resist. I have to stick with it. In about 333 hours, it will be over.

                  • polisavvy says:

LOL!! I couldn’t help but interject my visual. I know, I know, what a sick visual; but, a visual just the same. I seriously did go and hug my three dogs!! 🙂
