The best laid plans

I find this more funny than I should.

A Georgia school system went to a four-day school week to save money last year and wound up nearly costing more than 1,000 of its students their high school diplomas.

Basically the school tacked on classes in the four day period and confused everybody and a lot of students failed to show up enough to earn the credits they needed.

Sometimes thinking outside the box leaves you without a box.

Somebody didn’t think this through. How are we ever going to get out of the bottom five in education?
