This seems like a no brainer to me. If you’ve got a kid making an outstanding score on the SAT or ACT, why the heck do they need to take the graduation test — particularly with the ACT’s broad base of subject matters and the SAT’s wide acceptance as a standard for college applications.
The state Department of Education is considering what other scores – from the SAT, ACT, Advanced Placement tests or vocational certification exams – might substitute for the Georgia High School Graduation Test.

Seems racist to me.
Could it be the broad paint brush of the NCLB that high grades kids must be treated the same as the low grades kid?
