If Max Wood was not running for Attorney General, I’d vote for Preston. Preston has a bright future ahead of him.

And thus, he articulates, in a very intelligent way, why we also really needed a conservative challenger to Casey Cagle…

Alas, Chip Rogers may get washed away in the scandal that is that Meth Hotel he owned with Tom Graves and that would also open the door for fresh leadership…

I agree, if Max Wood weren’t running, Preston Smith surely would have had my vote… One other thing, Mr. Smith may want to tone down a bit of the pomp on the trail – he sometimes comes off a tad bit arrogant and that too can turn off voters…

Preston is quite brilliant and was a good legislator when he wasn’t on the idealogical crazy-train.

I applaud Preston voting against the hospital bed tax and appreciate the strategic brilliance of this self-serving catapult into a statewide election.
However, it is unfortunate for District 52 that Preston is moving on. The people of the 52nd need Preston to take his lumps and continue the good fight against ever-increasing taxation.
Like sands in the hourglass, so are the upwardly mobile days of the disingenuous Preston Smith’s life.

Preston seems to have proven that he is going to take a stand on conviction rather than be swayed by political threats. He’s proven he will stand and fight for what he believes is right and deal with the consequences afterward in a very admirable manner.

I’m fairly new to all of the politics that I find myself thrown into and sometimes its saddening for me to see the people I once saw at a distance are not who they claim to be and will bow at the almighty knee of political persuasion the minute the going gets rough. Finding a candidate to support like Preston gets me excited to be involved. This guy has guts!

  6. Preston provides a refreshing reminder of the difference between those who are loyal to a party and those who are loyal to the ideals of the electorate. ..and we are certainly more in need of the latter!

And, what about those people who are loyal to their spouses? Oh…wait. Preston cannot claim that mantle.
