This will be a great event. Yacht Rock Revue is a great band. Please stop by. Check them out here.

By the way, they play every Thursday night at 10 High in the Virginia Highlands starting at 9:30pm.

I’ll go if Doug Grammar goes. I’m younger than him by a year. I think.

GOPGeorgia March 19, 2010 at 11:51 am

Well it’s also for those of us who were once a young professional….but I doubt I’ll be there. We’ll see.

oompa…do we know each other?

Lobbyist.

The Yacht Rock guys have a new band as well. It’s a Beatles cover band called “Please Please Rock Me” They’re very good.

Game Fan March 19, 2010 at 10:20 am

I’ll be busy partying with the middle-aged chaw spittin bass boat grunge boys.

ZazaPachulia March 19, 2010 at 11:52 am

Umm… all of us “young professionals” are either unemployed, under-employed or living off daddy’s checkbook. Only those of us in the later category are going to be able to afford you $30 early bird tickets.

In this economy, 40 is the new 25. The concept of the “young professional” barely exists anymore.

ZazaPachulia March 19, 2010 at 11:54 am

Oh, and the reason the college kids (and unemployed young professionals) like hanging out at Atlanta Brewing company for those tours is because it provides copious amounts of good beer practically for free.

On a brighter note, the unemployed won’t have to worry that it’s on a Tuesday night and they may have to work with a hangover Wednesday morning.

Can’t wait to to see the GA GOP join the Nation of Smooth for this great event.

Joshua Morris March 22, 2010 at 3:47 pm

So this is raising money for the party that protected the incumbent Senator Chambliss from a primary opponent and appears to be doing the same for Senator Isakson? That really gets under my skin.

GOPGeorgia March 22, 2010 at 6:22 pm

Joshua,

Please define “protected.” If any other Congressman, Herman Cain, or other statewide figure with clout wanted to run against either Senator, please explain how the Georgia GOP stopped them from doing that.
