Will Dick ever stop underestimating Georgia’s black voters? He posits that Thurbert Baker has a shot at defeating Barnes simply because he’s black. He also posited that Vernon Jones had a real shot at beating Jim Martin in the Dem. senate race again, simply because Jones is black. Dick was wrong about Jones, who in fact lost his own S. Dekalb, and he is wrong about Baker. Barnes will eat Baker alive him alive at the polls. Black voters have proved time and time again that they are willing to vote for someone other than the black guy (Mary Norwood Anyone?) yet Dick continues with this same storyline every election.
