The Gwinnett County Republican Party will hold a town hall meeting with State Representative Donna Sheldon on Thursday, January 21st, from 7 – 8:30 pm at Dacula City Hall. Rep. Sheldon will speak about the upcoming legislative session and take questions from the audience.
“The citizens of Gwinnett are very interested in the 2010 legislative session, and we appreciate Rep. Sheldon taking the time to discuss the work being done in state government,” said Chuck Efstration, chairman of the Gwinnett GOP.
Republican Donna Sheldon, a small business owner, is currently serving in district 105 the House of Representatives. The district includes Dacula and North East Gwinnett. Rep. Sheldon is the Vice-Chairman of the Transportation Committee and is the Chairman of the House Majority Caucus. She also serves on the Appropriations, Banks and Banking, Economic Development and Tourism, Ethics, and Transportation Committees.
