Good deal

Well done, Erick!

GodHatesTrash January 5, 2010 at 6:37 am

Now you’re the new Georgia Peach!

slyram January 5, 2010 at 6:45 am

Hell must be freezing over because Erick is on Morning Joe and it is hella cold in south Georgia. I thought I accidentally was watching Fox but his break down on NY 23 was interesting. He could have also said conservative Democrat Jim Marshall in Georgia removes the need to remove him.

Romegaguy January 5, 2010 at 5:42 pm

Erick’s endorsement meant a lot to the voters of NY 23

John Konop January 5, 2010 at 6:48 am

Erick did a great job on Morning Joe just saw it! BTW for anyone who has never met Erick that is how he comes across when I met him. He made very good points all should see the interview. I hope Buzz will post it.

Nicely done!

Chris January 5, 2010 at 7:55 am

You didn’t embarrass yourself, the GOP, RedState or Georgia. You even managed to recover decently from the Goebbles comment.

Excellent work.

soon, our boy is going to grow up and become the next Glenn Beck (sniffs)

Rick Day January 5, 2010 at 8:14 am

Seriously, well done. Now…if you can just get on The Daily Show™ …

True Grit January 5, 2010 at 8:29 am

Ahhh….but can our man handle a skewering by Olberman or Maddow?

Jason Shepherd January 5, 2010 at 8:31 am

Excellent job Erick, even if you didn’t mention Peach Pundit! :)

Bucky Plyler January 5, 2010 at 8:55 am

Eric, I enjoyed that & learned more about you as well. Colbert seemed to be in a good mood & was genuinely interested in your thoughts.

Demonbeck January 5, 2010 at 9:05 am

Not one word about Peach Pundit? I am disappointed, sir.

J/K Well done!

trainsplz January 5, 2010 at 9:42 am

Ya, nice one, Erick. I used to regularly read redstate, but it was a bit too extreme for me. I still recommend it as probably the best no-nonsense conservative material out there, though. Good job defusing the twitterz.

GOPGeorgia January 5, 2010 at 10:58 am

Good Job.

sent from my i-phone

Lawton Sack January 5, 2010 at 12:35 pm

Awesome job, Erick. They wanted to know what I was laughing at in the office.

Jason Shepherd January 5, 2010 at 1:47 pm

Re-running right now on Comedy Central.

John Konop January 5, 2010 at 1:52 pm

I got an e-mail from OX telling us not to watch Colbert anymore.

JUST A JOKE!

ByteMe January 5, 2010 at 2:52 pm

He just tweeted that Erick will be on tomorrow night.

Red State has a pro-life litmus test. (tehe)

IndyInjun January 5, 2010 at 7:18 pm

Erick,

Thanks.

Over the years since I started participating here, I have bashed the heck out of your Redstate Erick persona. Now you are a changed man and change agent in the GOP.

I commend you.

The conservative movement has not failed. The GOP failed conservatism.

Romegaguy January 5, 2010 at 8:43 pm

Notice Erick is NOT wearing an American flag on his lapel. He must support terrorists

oompaloompa January 5, 2010 at 10:52 pm

You make an oompa proud.

Nice job!

B Balz January 6, 2010 at 7:01 am

Way to stay cool under the hot lights.

Steve Perkins January 6, 2010 at 8:58 am

Erick did well and didn’t embarrass himself. However, my favorite part of the interview was when Colbert brought up Twitter… and you could just SEE it in Erick’s face as he realized, “Here’s comes the goat-f**king-child-molester quote”…
