The Hawk system was put in to keep the Dems or any small group of Legislatures from boycotting a meeting and deprive it of a quorum to shut down legislation. Like it or not, it was designed to make sure members showed up for their meetings and to help keep order.

“I believe that Georgia is watching our little old caucus elections today. They see this as the old guard vs the new. That’s their perception.

“They will judge us by how we respond

We have been brushed with the same broad brush as our leadership, but we chose that leadership. We have to choose today to right the ship
