Yes, it is nice to know someone is listening/reading our comments/thoughts. Not too long ago, I recall reading very candid and frank posts from some well known Republican Reps. but have gone mute since the entire fall out. “Come out, come out, where ever you are!”

Pete Randall has gotten off the deep end at times on the race issue, but he does write very well and makes excellent points at times. And Pete has done an excellent job informing all of us about the ethic issues. If I needed a lawyer I would hire Pete anytime.

Good afternoon. You are right it is a long piece — maybe too long — but aren’t we all tired of being spoon fed sound bites about candidates? The bottom line here is that we need to move on from this inside baseball morass we are in and focus on providing solid conservative solutions to the serious substantive problems before us in this next session. I have done that in the past. I will do that in the future.

Also, seeing how I am an occasional contributor on Peach Pundit, you can rest assured that I have never advised anyone not to read it.

Rep. Lindsey is the best person for this job. Email was great and he actually has a strong background and a plan in place when he becomes Whip. I wish he was running for Speaker, but will take Whip.

It’s not a campaign piece targeted to voters with short attention spans. It’s targeted to the member’s of the caucus who will be making the very important decision of choosing their leadership on Thursday. Hopefully, the members can somehow find the time to read a page or two about each candidate, before making a decision.
