No problem. People, especially politicians, need to realize that social media networks are not going away and should embrace the change rather than fighting it.

  2. IndyInjun says:

Tens of thousands of degree economists, many from Ivy League business school, completely missed forecasting the credit meltdown.

The economics bloggers had it nailed, hence they are appearing with increasing frequency on the business news shows.

There is magic in blogging, in sharing ideas and exchanging points of view.

The economists educated since the 1930’s know only Keynesian and monetarist idiocy that has finally run its course.

I certainly caught blistering heat from the “everything’s rosy” crowd here, though.

If one laid all of the economists in the world end to end they would never reach a consensus.

If one laid all of the lobbyists in the world end to end then one might be Glenn Richardson.

      • Game Fan says:

Most would conclude that free markets are best. Unless there’s a big think tank or media conglomerate paying the bills. Then all bets are off. Still the big media jackass economists are outnumbered by the sane ones. If the big think tanks look long enough they can find an economist to rationalize anything. “Obamacare? Hey, no problem.”

        • ByteMe says:

Yeah, you might even find a few Pulitzer-prize winning economists in the bunch.

There’s no accounting for anyone’s taste.

  3. I’ll have to start reading that blog more often. I believe that Peach Pundit has experimented in the past with advertisements for various Republican political campaigns, or maybe a Lanmark Communications ad or two. When GaLiberal’s page loaded, however, the first thing I noticed was a banner ad for “Athens’ First LGBT-friendly DUI Lawyer”! That belly laugh made my afternoon.
