The Bulldogs are trying to beat Auburn for four years in a row. That hasn’t happened since 1944-48.

Neither team is playing near their potential right now. Kind of an off year for both, though AU may be trending up, whereas UGA is doing some unfamiliar (as of late) soul searching.
This game is usually close, and I can’t count the number of games I’ve been to that have ended with a lead change within the last minute, and the other team almost coming back to win on the final play anyway.
For people who enjoy good, physical football, this game rarely disappoints.
All that said, I’ll be in The Grove in Oxford Mississippi this Saturday. Going to visit an old friend, and check out some excellent tailgate scenery.
If you’ve never been to Oxford for a tailgate, put it on your bucket list. Preferably, don’t wait until all the coeds call you “sir”.
If Georgia shows up with its Defense, Auburn wins by 7. If Auburn shows up with its Defense, Auburn wins by 14. If Mark Richt spends as much time worrying about his defense and his game plan as he does the team’s uniforms, Georgia might make a game of it. I remember when this game really mattered . . . when Auburn won, Alabama went to the Sugar Bowl. When Georgia won, well, Alabama went to the Sugar Bowl. Guess it really didn’t matter!
This year proved that either a) the SEC is the most overrated conference in college football [hmm, I feel like I’ve said that before] or b ) way too top heavy to be taken seriously.
And don’t get me started on the ACC…
at home this weekend–a perfect scenario for the dawgs to right the ship and gain momentum–whip the war eagles, bury the wildcats and ruin tech’s thanksgiving sounds like a perfect end of the season to me–gggoooooo dawgs, sic ’em woof, woof, woof!!!!!!!!
I’ve been kind of thinking the that UGA has a problem with multiple players getting arrested for driving a scooter on a suspended liscense, but then:

Seriously? Armed Robberty on fellow students with no money? With a pellet gun? From a Prius?
As my sister emailed me this morning, “at least they’re used to wearing orange”.
In that game (& any SECOND game) it could easily go either way. With that said I sure hope NOT!!!
Waaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr Eagle ; )
Talk like that can get you banned around here. Except that Clayton occasionally reads these things, and he would just re-instate you and ban me.
So consider yourself almost warned.
…and Go Dawgs.
STUPID Blackberry & it’s autocorrect!!!
SEC – NOT SECOND!!!
